antara festival 2018
We are pleased to announce that Antara Festival 2018 will take place at Mill Farm from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th of September 2018.
As many of you know, the UK Jazz scene is undergoing somewhat of a renaissance currently, with influences from club and sample cultures as well as incorporating sounds from across the globe.
We will showcase some of the best of this talent with a focus on global classical and folk traditions with a contemporary, jazz and electronic approach.
The festival offers a unique opportunity to see these emerging artists in an intimate setting; we aim to create a direct and immersive atmosphere. We also aim to attract the best audience possible - you are the most important part of the festival.
There will be a variety of solo, duet and collectives performing throughout the weekend culminating in an organised jam led by Kefaya. Also there will be less of a barrier between the artists and audience so you will have a chance to meet and talk to them throughout the festival.
There will also be great cuisine, local ale, chai and fruits of the farm on offer.
